Please join us on Saturday, January 13th from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the North Helpline Food Bank as we gather together with other neighborhood congregations (Sandpoint United Methodist and Maple Leaf Lutheran Churches) for a day of service and giving to our community. The project:
Bagging – There will be rice, beans, and other bulk foods along with diapers and hygiene products at the food bank which need to be repackaged into household sized packages. It’s a simple but very necessary task which people of all ages can do.

Ways you can help:
Donate – Your contributions will be given to North Helpline to purchase rice, beans, and other dry goods for us to repackage on the 13th. Please mark your donations “Day of Service” and we will use the funds for the projects.
Serve – Meet us at North Helpline (12736 33rd Ave NE, Seattle) on Saturday, January 13 at 3pm to help us bag up the food and supplies (and do other odd jobs to help the food bank.) It would be helpful to know approximately how many people will be there to help so the Helpline can be prepared for us. Please sign up in the Fireside Room. And please dress warmly as the warehouse can be chilly!
Celebrate – Join us after the service project at about 5:00 PM at the Wedgwood Alehouse (the back room with the pool table so all ages are welcome, 8515 35th Ave NE, Seattle) for a reception for all three churches to celebrate service and community. We will provide some appetizers. People will need to purchase their own beverages and may also stay for dinner.

Want to participate? Have questions? Please sign-up in the Fireside Room or see Pastor Karen.
