Alternative Gift Giving for the Holidays

Would you like to avoid the commercialism of Christmas and give alternative, meaningful gifts to friends and family?  Sunday, December 4th, we will host our Giving Sunday during our fellowship time after church.  You will have the opportunity to donate to any of five nonprofit organizations that our church works with during the year, or through five or more gift opportunities in the Presbyterian Giving Catalogue  https://presbyteriangifts.pcusa.org/gifts/.  You decide what you’d like to donate to in honor of the gift recipient, and we will give you a certificate of honor to share with them, so they know what organization or cause you gave to in their honor.  You can view the brochure on our website for a short description about each of the organizations we are supporting this year and a few select items from the catalog.

We’ll have copies to the Giving Catalogs available in the Fireside room on December 4.

The Nonprofit organizations are:

Treehouse

Teen Feed

Sound View Camp – Ropes Course Fundraiser

North Helpline

Duwamish Real Rent

A few select Presbyterian Giving Catalog items:

Farming Tools – $10

Supplies for Displaced Students -$30

Sapling (Tree) Set – $30

Famine Relief Food Voucher – $50

Family Nutrition Starter Pack – $150
