I hope that you can visit our Ribbon Prayer Fence on the church’s south parking area fronting 35th Ave NE. Prayer gives us hope. It helps us heal our own emotional and spiritual needs and those of others needing prayer, too. The multi-colored ribbons are thematic, and the colors and themes will change over time. There is a color key attached to the Ribbon Prayer Fence. The sidewalk on 35th Ave is well traveled by walkers so the hope is that others will leave their own prayers and feel supported by our community.
I got this idea after being moved by seeing a church prayer fence in Charleston, South Carolina. Thank you to Andy, Ted and Mike who spent hours bringing this Prayer Ribbon Fence to fruition. – Jennifer
