Adult Sunday Education

  • When: 11:30 AM-12:15 PM, Sundays (Sep-May)
  • Where: Church Library
  • Pastor Karen and members of the congregation lead in assorted topics. Studies run for a set amount of Sunday sessions but formatted so that anyone can come any Sunday during the session. 

Small Group Bible Study for Adults

  • When: 1:30-2:30 PM, 4th Mondays (Sep-Jun)
  • Where: Church Library
  • Pastor Karen leads this small group study.

Children’s Sunday School

  • When: 11:30 AM-12:15 PM, Sundays after Worship
  • Who: Children from 3 years through middle school age
  • Curriculum: Seasons of the Spirit
  • Classes are divided into similar age groups, each having their own room and leader.  

Elementary Fellowship

  • When: Every other Thursdays, 6:00-7:30 PM (meets for dinner)
  • Who: K-5 (church and neighborhood children)
  • What: Dinner, Bible study, fun Bible themed games
  • Jennifer Houston (Youth activities director) leads this group, ably assisted by teen graduates of the program. 

Middle & High School Youth Group

  • When: 6:00-7:30 PM, Tuesdays
  • Who: Mission-minded middle/high school aged youth, whether a church member or not
  • What: Dinner and fellowship, participate and help plan annual Christmas Pageant, Youth-led Worship Service, and Vacation Bible School. 
  • Also: Prepping and serving dinner the first Wednesday of every month at Teen Feed, a program for homeless and at-risk youth. 
  • As well as: One of our youth members planned a wildlife sanctuary garden on our south lawn.  All of the youth group members helped bring the garden to fruition and continue to garden there still. 
  • Not to forget: There is even a garden area set apart for produce for the North Helpline food bank.  

Vacation Bible School

  • When: Summer (dates TBD each year, usually in Jun-Jul)
  • Who: Ages 3 through completed 4th grade (regardless of church affiliation)
  • What: A weeklong ministry that is safe and fun, staffed by members and older youth of the church.

Sound View Camp

  • Where: Kitsap Peninsula
  • What: Our children, youth and families are encouraged and financially supported to attend this Christian Camp. Attending camp at Sound View is somewhat of a rite of passage for many of our children, many of whom have gone on to be leaders in training or on staff there.
