Among Teen Feed’s most consistent volunteers and supporters is Wedgwood Presbyterian Church, whose commitment stretches back to 1989. Month after month, their Youth Group has prepared and served meals, most often their well-loved rice and beans with fruit and beverages—a recipe that has stood the test of time with only small changes over the years.
What makes Wedgwood’s involvement so remarkable is the continuity of leadership and care. In 36 years, the program has had just 10 head cooks, a testament to the dedication and reliability of the church community. Even more inspiring, former youth members who once served as teens have returned after college to continue volunteering, keeping the spirit of service alive across generations.
Wedgwood Presbyterian Church’s decades-long presence with Teen Feed is more than a volunteer effort—it is a living witness of compassion, hospitality, and steadfast support for young people in need.
