We invite you to join us in supporting people in our community by participating in a service project. Over the next week, we will be gathering donations to buy food in bulk for the clients of North Helpline. In the past, the food bank has requested things like brown rice, pasta, and ground coffee.
You may make a donation for the purchase of the food by check via mail or the Sunday offering – please be sure to mark you check “North Helpline” or “packing party” so we direct your gift to the right cause. You may also use our online giving platform – instructions are in both the WPC newsletter, the sanctuary pews, and below. Deadline for your gift (or pledge of a gift) is July 10 which gives us time to order the food.
On Sunday, July 19th after the worship service, we welcome you to join us in the Fireside Room to pack the food. This is a service project that can be done by people of all ages and abilities. We hope you’ll join us!
